Becoming a knight was a long and sometimes difficult process. Young boys were sent to live with a lord at age seven and started their training to become knights. Part of the “Crabtree Connections” series, this book superficially describes what knights must know how to do and what challenges they might face. There is a list of additional resources at the end of the book, however, and one of the websites provides more details about the process of becoming a knight.
