Baby animals in land habitats - Children's Literature
It would be hard not to pick up and look at this book which is part of the “Habitats of Baby Animals” series because the covers are so attractive. Baby animals hold a lot of appeal and not only for young readers. There is a baby opossum on the cover and chipmunks on the title page both of which are quite eye-catching. The books in the series have a similar structure: a table of contents page which is entitled “What is in this book?” followed by several chapters that describe the habitat and feature the types of animals one would find in it.
