In this book, the author has defined “super nature” as the amazing things that plants and animals do that people wish they could do. One of the first examples is the way plants make oxygen from sunlight. In many ways this particular title is a recap of the information presented in several of the other titles. There are chapters that discuss photosynthesis, describes herbivores, carnivores and the food chain with a real emphasis on the fact that nature does not waste—some of nature’s cleaners (scavengers) put nutrients back in the soil.
